Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that you
might be interested in. If you have a question that is not on this list,
please contact us.
Why Our Prices Are So Low
You are probably wondering how we can charge as much as 70% less than our
competition and still be in business, right?
First of all, we run a tight ship. We choose our promotions carefully
and ensure every advertising dollar pays for itself; we streamline our
systems and billing processes; we don't have any frills (like the $5000
office chairs of some of the now bankrupt dot-coms). We also don't waste
money on unnecessary things like toll-free fax numbers that are often abused
anyway.
Second, we're straight shooters. There are no tricks in what we do,
just good, old-fashioned, reliable business principles. Quite often
we're asked if we bait our customers with low rates and then charge high
renewal prices. Anybody that expects us to do that will be disappointed. We
believe in the old saying, "You can shear a sheep many times but you can
only skin it once." So, your renewal rates will be no higher than the
rate you paid when you initially joined.
What's the end result of all this? Well, we're happy to tell you that we're
a small but profitable company that expects to be in business for many years
to come. All this, of course, is due to value-conscious customers like
you.
Will my monthly price ever go up?
No, your monthly price is guaranteed for life. It will never go up as long
as you remain an Easy Web Online member. There are also no other costs or
hidden fees. You simply pay a set amount every month.
How long does it take to create my website and
get it online?
It may take as little as two business days after your initial payment has
been received. In most cases, our clients' sites are up and running within
24 hours.
What if I want to make changes to the content of
my website?
You can make changes to your website at any time through your Control Panel.
You have the capacity to revise, add, or delete any content you wish.
Do I have to sign any contracts?
No, you are not required to sign any contracts if you sign up for our
no-term plan.
Is there a cancellation policy?
2 year term price plan: You are not able to cancel for 2 years.
This agreement is for successive two (2) year terms, automatically renewed
every two (2) years, unless cancelled by you by written notice given and received at
least thirty days or less before your renewal date. Any notice of
termination will be effective at the end of the current prepaid period.
No term price plan:
Even though we are confident that you will not want to cancel, you do not
have to sign any contracts with Easy Web Online for our no term plan. Therefore, you have the
freedom to cancel at any time you want. A minimum of 30 days written notice
prior to the withdrawal date of the payment is required and that any
cancellation done in less than 30 days prior to the payment date will be
processed for the following month.
Am I able to add links to other websites from my
own website?
You do have that option. You can add or delete any link you wish.
What level of customer support can I expect?
Every client is important to us and we strive to deliver 110% support to all
of our customers. If you call us during normal business hours (Eastern
Standard Time), a human being will answer the phone and you will get prompt
personal attention.
I am not as computer literate as I wish to be,
so I’m a little nervous about starting my own website.
The beauty of Easy Web Online is that you do not have to be an expert in
your understanding of computers. All you have to worry about is
personalizing your website, which we will guide you with. Everything
else will be done for you. If you do require assistance, you can contact us
through phone or e-mail.
Can I have a personalized business email
address?
Yes, we can set you up with an email address linked to your website (e.g.
YourName@YourSite.com). There is an additional fee of $4.99 a month for this
service.
How do I check messages sent to my new email
address?
You have the option to send and receive email using popular email clients
like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or use Web-Based Email.
Web-Based Email is an Internet-based e-mail system that lets you send and
receive e-mail messages from a Web browser. All you need to use Web-Based
Email is an Internet connection and the Internet Explorer Web browser
(Internet Explorer v5.5 or later). You can also forwarding your Easy Web
Online e-mails to your existing e-mail account. We recommend the latter
option as you only have to check one account without going through all your
other e-mail accounts.
Is it necessary for me to have a website? Will
people really buy a house or other property via the Internet?
Recent surveys have shown how important the Internet has become as a real
estate tool. An ever-increasing number of people research companies and
individuals on the Net before making a buying decision. Even greater numbers
use it to explore properties that are available and the features they offer.
If you do not have a presence on the Internet, you risk losing business.
Real estate professionals who put off having their own website may find
themselves getting increasingly sidelined as customers start demanding more
from their agents. Having a website makes it easier for potential buyers to
find you and your properties. An Internet presence allows people to get in
touch with you and view the information you have to offer 24 hours a day,
seven days a week, whether they are around the block, or around the world.
The Internet is a huge marketing opportunity and today's most successful
real estate agents all have their own websites.
Who will submit my website to search engines?
Each page is optimized for search engine ranking. Easy Web Online will
handle search engine submission to the top ten search engines and re-submit
on a monthly basis. Links may be added to and from other websites for
improved search results.
Is hosting of my site included?
Yes, hosting is included in our monthly price
